Corby – Sexual Health Drop in
Wellingborough Sewing with Adult Learning
Congratulations to our members in Wellingborough who completed their 5 week Sewing Course with Adult Learning – Northamptonshire. It has been wonderful to see them develop their skills and take pride in their creations. They have developed some incredible skills and have made tissue holders, purses and more!
Book Club
Reading books, especially those related to personal development/ recovery can provide insight, inspiration and motivation. We have had a book club running in Corby for some time now, and also have one Starting in Northampton in March.
IT Course Adult Learning
Members in Corby completed a 3 week IT course with Adult learning this month and were awarded with certificates.
Well done Michelle, David and Rob! It’s so lovely to be able to share your achievements!
We have an Internet and E-safety course being run by Adult Learning in Wellingborough throughout March.
Wellingborough Darts Tournament
Wellingborough Knit & Natter
A massive well done to our member in Wellingborough- Andrew, who recently crocheted a teddy bear. Would you believe he had never crocheted before joining our Knit & natter group? It’s amazing what you can achieve when you practice! Amazing work. Knit & natter is on every week in Wellingborough on a Friday at 11:15 am. There is also a Crochet group on a Friday in Northampton at 10:30 am.
Cookery at the Cube
Recently members from all 3 Bridge sites attended a 4 week cooking course at the Cube cooking College. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and the Cube were great hosts!
Members were also awarded certificates for their participation and all engaged well in the sessions.
Well done to all who attended and a big thanks to the Cube for hosting and for all the wonderful flavours.
