Lizzie (Tellus Mater)
”On Thursday 17th September, our Inspire members visited Lizzie at @Tellus Mater for a lovely day on the farm. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, surrounded by the lovely nature and animals. We all enjoyed a lovely walk with Lizzie sharing her foraging knowledge and then returned to prepare a beautiful lunch of home-made chicken kebabs, flat breads and tzatziki! Thank you so much to Lizzie for hosting us once again!
For those of you that are interested in attending the next session, we have some available spaces for next Tuesday 22nd. Please speak to a member of staff at the Gold Street hub to secure your place. There is a fee of £2 to secure this.”
Wellbeing Day (Beckets Park)
What a brilliant day we had today at our Recovery Wellness event on Thursday 10th September
The Inspire: Alcohol and Drug Service partnership came together to celebrate recovery month and seeing so many people in recovery, being part of a great group, is such a pleasure for us!
We even had the bonus of a couple of members from Chapel Recovery
Everyone gave something a go, (many putting themselves out of their comfort zone) whether it be yoga, poetry, desert island discs, going for a walk or rounders.
So many smiles and laughs, and that’s why we love what we do. Thanks to everyone that attended today, you made our day!
