Job Title: Administrator
Salary: £12.00/hour
Hours: Monday to Friday , 10am – 2pm
Location: Corby
Reports to Team Manager

Bridge is a peer support programme which links volunteers who may have recovered from alcohol and/or drug misuse with members who have, or who are recovering from serious substance misuse problems. Bridge also provides a range of activities, events and support and our outstanding teams include recovery workers who support our members to sustain their recovery, as well as staff who specialise in advice and guidance on benefits, housing, and employment.

We currently have a vacancy for an Administrator at our Corby Service, working 10am to 2pm, Mondays to Fridays. The successful candidate may have lived experience of addiction or will have experience of working with or supporting people who have difficulties associated with the misuse of drugs or alcohol. You will be motivated, enthusiastic, conscientious, and creative, and will work closely with our team of Volunteers and Mentors to deliver the best outcomes for our members.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support using G-Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Answer the phone, take messages and deal with general enquiries
  • General administrative duties, including minutes of meetings
  • Manage emails and post as required
  • Work with the Administration Manager and other teams to ensure that processes are monitored and reviewed as required
  • Ensure the quality of data held within our Case Management System
  • Process member referrals and inductions and ensure that case note data is uploaded in a timely fashion
  • Work in a way that ensures that the service is delivered in compliance with relevant legislation and Bridge’s policies, practices and contractual requirements
  • Promote, monitor and maintain health and safety in the workplace
  • Diary management, including arranging appointments

Key requirements

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Able to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Attention to detail and accurate recording of data
  • Experience of Microsoft Office
  • Experience of working in an administrative role is preferable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
