Volunteers play an important role in helping Bridge to meet its aims and objectives. They help by filling various roles, such as:

  • Mentoring
  • Office Work
  • Reception Work
  • Cleaning Work
  • Various Activities
  • Various Therapies
  • Café Work

Our aim is to help both volunteers and members secure paid employment by providing them with experience, training, information and guidance.

Our volunteers are required to work with a diverse group of people. Consequently, a non-judgemental attitude and an ability to work with vulnerable adults is essential. We require volunteers who are friendly and have a positive attitude.

At Bridge our volunteers are highly valued. People volunteer for many reasons:

  • To gain experience
  • To "give something back"
  • To be a part of something
  • To "make a difference"
  • To support people in their recovery

Whatever your reasons for joining our team, we would love to hear from you.
